Hotari’s Pivot Punch Tutorial

now, i will explain the steps of making a punching action in steps.

Step 1.
ok get your stick guy into a basic stance. im gonna use the one below =D

Step 2.
now, draw him back a little, i know its a little vague but i will give out the piv in the end…

Step 3.
now, add another draw back, but about a quater the legnth of the other drawback. its all about smoothness.

Step 4.
ok, now your gonna need another stick, edit your stick and measure the size of his forearm. make a stick thats the same thickness, BUT about half the legnth of the sticks forearm. and make your little guy step forward, and hide the arm he’s throwing and replace it with the stick you just made.

Step 5.
Now… you can add a frame here if you want. i like to but usually, people dont so i will not explain this. though you can get it from the PIV.

Step 6:
now launch the throwing arm out and make your little guy step forward rather quickly. like so:

Final Step.
ok this is strictly for smoothness. make your guy follow through with the action and sort of… rest. like this:

you dont have to use this style, this is strictly a demo of one. there are a whole lot of styles, that sadly, i know nothing of. lol
